Student National Medical Association (SNMA)

Diversifying the Face of Medicine since 1964

SNMA is the nation’s oldest and largest student organization focused on the needs and concerns of minority medical students. SNMA commits to support current and future underrepresented minority medical students, address the needs of underserved community, and increase the number of clinically excellent, socially, and culturally conscious physicians.

At RVUCOM-SU, we are a student group committed to educating the student body, faculty, and staff on the diversity of all people to encourage the practice of inclusive behaviors. We recognize and celebrate the diverse backgrounds of the RVU-SU community through various event types in order to proliferate understanding, acceptance, and tolerance.

Celebration of Diversity, Inclusivity, and Cultures

An annual event brought by SNMA where students educate the RVU community on their backgrounds, cultures, religion, and more. The RVU community comes together to celebrate the diversity of our student body through cultural displays, international games, music from around the world, language demonstrations, and much more.
